How do I upload my website?
Once your hosting account is setup (shortly after application), you will receive a confirmation email containing all your usernames/passwords and various access details.
You can upload your site via one of the following methods.
Via an FTP client (there are many available on the market, click here for some examples. Please note that we are unable to provide support for all FTP clients. We will provide limited support for our recommended FTP clients, FileZilla (Windows) and Cyberduck (Mac). Your web development program, such as Dreamweaver, may include an FTP client). You will need the following information to connect to your site via an FTP client.
- Your host name. This may be either ftp.yourdomain, the name of your server, or the IP address of your server.
- Your username. This may just be your username or username@yourdomain (depending on the server you''re hosted on).
- Your password.
If you are unsure of this information, please send a request to help@bottledomains.com.au.
- Via our web based control panel (for some of our hosting products).
This service allows you to upload and edit files via our hosting control panel. Please note that this is not advised if you are uploading a lot of files, or files of a large size.
- Via Frontpage.
