How do I cloak my outgoing mail messages using Bottle Direct?
To cloak your outgoing emails, you need to change the value of the Name and E-mail Address fields in your mail client to that of the name and email address you wish others to see when you are sending mail. Please refer to the following instructions for the most popular mail clients, Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express.
Microsoft Outlook
- Go to the Tools menu.
- Select E-mail Accounts.
- Select View or change existing e-mail accounts and click Next.
- If you have more than one email account, make sure the appropriate account is selected and click Change.
- Modify the values in the Your Name and E-mail Address fields in the User Information section.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
Outlook Express
- Go to the Tools menu.
- Select Accounts.
- Select the Mail tab.
- If you have more than one email account, make sure the appropriate account is selected and click Properties.
- Select the General tab.
- Modify the values in the Name and E-mail Address fields in the User Information section.
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
NOTE: These steps will vary between different software versions. It may require you to search your email client’s help facility.
